Since 1989, our primary business focus has been in the development and subsequent maintenance of muti user vertical software systems. Back then we were supporting and developing software for MS-DOS and various Unix derivatives using Dataflex, Basic, and Clarion. Most multi-user requirements were met by using terminals and serial ports. Of course the release of Microsoft windows had us using different tools to meet the requirements of GUIs and networking. Nowadays, Clarion is our preferred database development system as the speed of application development has surpassed others we have evaluated. Microsoft SQL server is currently our preferred backend for systems with sufficient data activity to warrant the expense. We also use C++ in situations where it is warranted.
